The $10 Million Man. Mac Miller Signs With Warner Bros Records
According to The Fader, Miller has reportedly signed a deal with Warner Bros Records and is bringing his independent label, REMember Music, with him. The new partnership is rumored to be worth around $10 million.
“Warner is the most independent thinking company I met with,” said Miller to Fader in an email. “It is a partnership and now I can focus on building my label REMember through music and let them handle everything I don’t like doing. Nothing will change in how I do things.” Miller went on to say: “They have Prince.”
With the new Warner Bros deal, Miller will still be able to strengthen and broaden his REMember Music label by signing new artists and developing their craft with the help of both brands. All future projects from Miller and his artists will now be released via REMember Music/Warner Bros.
