#NewMusic – The Chainsmokers Drops ” Sick Boy ” video

The Chainsmokers "Sick Boy" "How many likes is my life worth?" So reads the giant banner ad Tuesday (Jan. 16) in Times Square where The Chainsmokers promote their next release. The single, out now, is called "Sick Boy" and sounds like a big departure from the New York City duo's usual romantic pop flair. "I'm from the east side of America, where we choose pride over character, and we can pick sides but this is us," The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart sings over a pained piano melody. "I live on the west side of America, where they spin lies into fairy dust, and we can pick sides but this is us." It goes from there, and even when the beat kicks in, it only gets darker. The record comes alongside a music video featuring Drew and Alex, in addition to drummer Matt McGuire. Watch it below:

#NewMusic – Toni Braxton and Birdman Hook Up on New Song ‘Heart Away’

Toni Braxton and Birdman have teamed up to drop a new song, "Heart Away." The pair has been rumored to be dating, with some sources saying they actually secretly married in 2017, so it's not surprising that they'd team up for a new track. The song is produced by London On Da Track, and this is apparently the first of many new collaborative songs for Toni and Birdman. A rep for Birdman told Complex that he and Toni “are working on new music as an item.” This isn't the first time Toni and Birdman have teamed up musically. They also released "Baby You Can Do It,” which was featured on Birdman's debut album almost 15 years ago. As for the status of their relationship, it still is a mystery although reps for Toni told US Weekly they weren't married once those rumors started swirling. However, even Toni's sister, Tamar Braxton, isn't buying it and believes they tied the knot. Either way, you can take a listen to "Heart Away" below, which will apparently be ..
Mary J blige #TimesUp Anthem

#NewMusic – Mary J. Blige #TimesUp Anthem ‘Bounce Back 2.0′ (Audio)

Mary J. Blige is known for making anthemic songs for women and “Bounce Back 2.0” adds to her discography of empowering songs. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul released the song on her 47th birthday (Jan. 11) and it’s clearly for the courageous women of the Time’s Up movement. On the track, Mary delivers a message of empowerment to those who are fighting against discrimination, sexism and harassment. "Ladies, let me tell you something / We come too far to lose / We'll win this battle / We suffer hard for love," she sings, adding, "Look what we're made of, beautiful scars on us / This life is what we make it / Won't change a thing / Ain't worry about it, no." MJB brings the message home on the infectious chorus, which goes, "Life is really, really, real, yeah / I'm always ready for the bounce back (ready for the bounce back) / I ain't stressin', I'm just feeling what I'm feelin' / I'mma always be around, I don't doubt that." Mary had t..
