Raps Magazine. The Underground Music Awards were created to acknowledge and honor the achievements and contributions of unsigned and independent artists within the urban music scene. The mission of the Underground Music Awards is to give public recognition and accolades to those independent artists and producers who have demonstrated excellence or significant accomplishment in the independent music world and beyond.
Past winners of Urban Threshold’s Underground Music Awards include Nicki Minaj, MGK, Cory Gunz, J.
