Interview: Eddylness is breathing new life into R&B music
What single or project are you currently pushing?
Eddylness: The single I am currently pushing is the song “DO YOU LOVE ROMANCE”
Which artists have inspired you?
Eddylness: The artist that have inspired me are Tyrese, Usher, Ne-yo, Michael Jackson
What is your opinion of the current state of the music industry?
Eddylness: I feel that the music industry is in a state of evolution. The music is constantly changing and new artist emerge every year bringing new taste and approach to music. Adaptation and consistency has become the key to success now in the game.
If you can change one thing about the music industry what would it be and why?
Eddylness: If in could change one thing about the music industry it would be that more unknown artist would be heard and given a chance to show whether they can be at the same level of the superstars or higher.
Tell us something that most people may not know about you?
Eddylness: I engineer and mix and write all of my music. And in my writing process I picture the music video to a topic first and write the song according to what I see in my head.
What is your favorite part of your live show? How has it evolved?
Eddylness: My favorite part of my live show is the rush I feel right when I get on stage.
It has evolved whereas I make connecting eye contact with people so that they can feel what I’m feeling and understand that what I do is for them.
