New York MC T-Wiz, was selected to appear on the Vol.2 of the A&R Watchlist Mixtape/Music Sampler. Wiz’s standout singles “Clap for the hatterz” and the dance smash “Earthquake” are sure to grab the ears of the music fans and industry insiders.

Q: You’re 15 years old. Who are some of your influences in the music field?
Man I got so many like Nas, Jay-Z, Wu Tang, Slick Rick, Rakim all the real lyricist and legends.
Q:When did you first know that you wanted to become a recording artist?
I didn’t realize it until last year when my pops was letting me fool around in the studio.
Q: T-Wiz was one half of the group Wavey Boyz. It the group still together?
Unfortunately no, but shout outs to them we still keep in touch.
Q: What do you feel you will bring to the music industry?
I feel like I’m gonna bring what the industry is missing and that’s positive music for the kids and everybody else who enjoys it.
Q: Who are some of your favorite artists out right now?
I don’t really have any, everybody in the industry is talented but I listen to a lot of old school.
Q: Where do you want your career to be in the next 3 years?
I want my career to be big and I want to be known worldwide in 3 years I know I can do it if I put my mind to it.
Q: How do you manage to juggle a music career and going to school at the same time?
It’s a lot but if I really want to do this music thing I’m going to have to work it out.
Q: What’s the concept behind the song “Clap for the haters”?
That’s just for all the people who got haters and bullies. That Song is to show them why they hating and just to do you don’t worry about them.
Q: You’ve just recorded a video for your second single “Earthquake”. Tell me about the concept for the video and the song?
The concept is self-explanatory to be honest. It’s a party song you go out get in the rhythm and do your thing
Q: Who do you feel is your competition in the music game?
I feel like in the industry everyone is competition because everybody wants to be number 1.
Q: What would you like for your fans to know about you?
To the fans I got more music coming out and I promise you it will be worth the wait.
Q: Tell me about your upcoming projects
I got so many things for everybody. My EP is dropping and I should be doing some mix tapes so watch out for that.
