Young Gifted represent the golden age of hip hop. When hip hop was created, it was all about the culture and its movement. Now it’s about the all mighty dollar. Over the years, music has changed dramatically. We feel that artist moved away from developing their talent and lyrical skills. That’s why we stayed true to the culture. We continue to keep our ears to the streets and stay grounded. This is one of the reasons why we stood the test of time.
What is the significance of your name?
When you break down Young Gifted and you separate the Young from the Gifted. Young is forever and forever we’re dedicated to the craft. We eat and breathe hip hop. It’s our way of life. If you listen close, it’s forever in our music. Young Gifted is and always will be timeless.
What sets you apart from other Hip Hop artists?
We’re gifted not only in music but in our ways and actions. Some may not understand our view point, but we do this for the culture. Some do what they do best; Stand around and just point. Others say and do things for entertainment purposes and get paid well doing it. Young Gifted speaks for the streets. If you’re entertained, that’s cool. We’re not entertainers, we view ourselves as public speakers.
What tell me about the single “Murda 1” that you are currently pushing?
Murda 1 is the beginning of the end. It’s our way of kicking in the door and off the hinges. Prepare for the arrival of the four horsemen: L.O.V.E. Total Kaos, Profilz, and Reaction

We are in the process….No timetable as of yet

Public Enemy, NWA, EPMD, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, KRS-1, BIG, Tupac, Snoop-Dog & the Dog Pound, Wu-tang Clan, Redman, Naughty by Nature, Queen Latifa the Flavor Unit, Jay-Z, Eminem, Nas, Canibus, Lil Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross.

Tell me something about yourself that most people may not know?
I live and die hip hop. Still, I listen to other genres of music. Jazz, Soft Rock, Reggae, R&B, Hardcore Heavy Metal, and Country.
Are there any singers or Rappers that you would like to collaborate with in the future?
Yeah, unfortunately they all returned to the essence. “R.I.P”- Michael Jackson, B.I.G, Tupac. Still I wouldn’t mind collaborating with the homies from around the way: Naughty by Nature Queen Latifa, Redman, Canibus, Fugees, and Poor Righteous Teachers.
What producer would you like to collaborate with in the future?
Dr. Dre, Timbaland, RZA, Swizz Beats, Diddy, Dame Grease, DJ Premier, Pharell Williams.
What are some major misconceptions that you think people have of you?
Probably in some way shape or form that were a part of the Illuminati
