Your Bio, Tell us about yourself: International Blizz was born on July 10, 1980 to a single mother in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in the notorious Albany Housing Projects, home to Hip Hop artist Half-A-Mill and legendary DJ for the group EPMD, DJ Scratch.

In 1998, after having his second daughter and not knowing what his next step was going to be, Blizz began to pick up the pen and started putting his thoughts and feelings down on paper in rhyme. An older guy that Blizz looked up to in his hood heard him rhyme one day and told him that he had the talent to make it. Blizz has taken time to perfect his craft. He has been a part of two classic mixtape releases including “Welcome To Brooklyn” as part of the group International Bosses and his break out solo debut “Food For Thought”. He has also received international acclaim for his song and video “Crown Heights”, ode to his beloved hometown.

International Blizz’s style of rapping is one of struggle, pain, violence, betrayal, honor, and but also has a message in every line. Inspired by Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, Big L, and Young Jeezy, he stays motivated to become a star. He wants to accomplish his goal of being a great creator of music and well respected artist as he stays loyal to family and friends.
