Biography
Born to Theodore Hudson and Emma Jewel Lacey at Queen of the Valley Hospital on Nov 10th 1982 @ 7:10 am. after his birth in 1982 Young Thee lived in Pomona Ca. with his Mother Emma who at this time was age 15 and his Auntie Peggy Hunter after his Mother had been put out of her parents home for not agreeing to having an abortion and were his mother would meet Dennis Mann who also lived there and who fathered and helped in raising Young Thee for the 1st 10 years of his life.
In 1983 Dennis Mann moved Young Thee and his Mother Emma out of her sisters home and in to his Aunties home on the South side in the City of Ontario Ca. Along with Dennis Young Thee’s Grandmother from his extended family Mahaley Mann and her other children and siblings who played the biggest role in his life for the 1st 10 years helped in parenting Young Thee due to his mother Emma’s drug addiction to crack cocaine.
At this time of Young Thee’s childhood he had problems paying attention, listening, and getting along with other children he struggled with accepting authority from Adults who played a role in his life Parents, Teachers . He was very rebellious towards others. Young Thee loved basketball since the ripe age of 5 this kept him focused. n 1987 and at age 5 Young Thee was diagnosed with ADHD and was being treated for it.
During this time Young Thee was sent off to go live with his Grandmother Vera but because of her Husbands Dean’s anger towards Young Thee’s Paternal Father Theodore Hudson Young Thee was returned to Mahaley. Young Thee went to go live with his Auntie Peggy in Las Vegas Nevada, due to his mother Emma’s continued drug use along with incarceration. After just 1 Year of living with his Auntie and because of his anger outburst and behavioral problems Young Thee was sent back to California to live with a friend of his Grandmother Vera’s.
Mrs Maggie who helped to parent Young Thee by treating and caring for him as her own child giving him the love, stability, guidance, and direction that he needed for so long. The majority of his childhood was spent moving around this caused Young Thee major instability in his childhood & Adult life. Anger, Abandonment issues ,along with Behavioral problems in school caused a big impact on his life, and in the life of everyone around him.
In 1988 Young Thee’s mother Emma cleaned her self up and moved herself and Young Thee to San Bernardino Ca. to live with his Auntie Cassandra and her 3 children @ the time. Young Thee and his mother Emma continued moving around from place to place due to his mothers inability to stop using drugs. Living in Shelters, Motels, Standing in food lines sleeping in cars or were ever they could. The Majority of Young Thee’s childhood was spent living with other people
In 1988 his mother Emma finally moved to her own place, and was sober for about 1 year but after several failed relationships, his mother once again relapsed and began using more than ever this time neglecting and abandoning Young Thee to the care for himself & which landed Young Thee in 1993 back in the care of Mrs Maggie Jones while his mother Emma was in jail serving a possession charge.
In 1994 once again Young Thee would return home to his mother for a short time that same year and after 9 months of sobriety his mother relapsed and Young Thee was placed in a all Boys Group Home in San Bernardino while his mother fought the courts to regain custody of him.
In 1995 Young Thee would again return home to his mother for the duration of his childhood. Young Thee had never knew his paternal father but this same year he would go to Sacramento Ca. to spend the summer and get to know his father Theodore Hudson along with his siblings. After returning from his summer break. In 1995 Young Thee started his journey in Hip Hop Music, inspired by Hip Hop music Artist Tupac Shakur, E40, Jay z just to name a few. Young Thee began to write and produce music with the help of his Step dad KEVIN. who taught him the business. Young Thee went on to gain local exposure.
In the Year 2000 Young Thee wrote and produced his first local Album, called MY HUSTLE with the help of his friend LEWIS ALLEN. Young Thee was also a part of a local Hip Hop group called INFINITI. during this year Young Thee would serve a 1 year sentence at Pichetts Detention Center Known as Wayside, in Los Angeles Ca. after being charged with 17 counts of Commercial Burglary Which Was reduced to 1 year county time with 3 Years formal probation. After his release form jail Young Thee would continue focusing on his Hip Hop career.
In 2004 Young Thee then moved to Sacramento Ca. to live with his Father &Siblings, were he met the mother to his 3 children Danielle Dyba continued his music career as a Hip Hop Artist. In 2007 Young Thee Later returns to San Bernardino Ca. and has a run in with the law landing his self In 2009 Young Thee and members of his extended family got together and formed a music label by the name of FAMILY FIRST ENTERTAINMENT and with the help of his new manager ANN CLARK Family First Entertainment has taken off to a great start looking to get signed to a major Record Label Young Thee has faced a lot of challenges in his life an has stood through them all he has a purpose and dream to carry out like Young Thee say’s: IT”S FAMILY FIRST OR NOTHING!!!
