(Update) Fetty Wap’s Stolen ‘1738’ from shooting, shows Up on IG, Suspect Arrested
One of Fetty Wap‘s longtime rivals was arrested in connection with the robbery and shooting that broke out Sunday morning — and the suspect was flashing Fetty’s stolen chain on Instagram.
Cops in Paterson booked Raheem Thomas for the shootout. Thomas posted an IG pic of someone wearing Fetty’s signature “1738” chain. He claimed he didn’t personally jack the chain, but bragged he only took a pic with it.
Background on shooting
The site (TMZ) claimed the shooting was allegedly linked to a confrontation between Fetty’s crew and another group of people, but now, TMZ is reporting the events that led to the shooting began with Fetty getting robbed. According to their sources, Fetty had his chain and some cash snatched from him while he was in Paterson, N.J.
Apparently, law enforcement was dispatched to Montclair Ave and Paxton Street around 5 a.m. on Sunday morning (March 26) after shots were fired, and police quickly located two men that had been shot in the incident. One victim was shot in the leg, while the other was hit in the torso. Luckily, none of the wounds were considered life-threatening.
Two of the victims were taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, N.J., while a third reportedly checked himself into Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, N.J. Fetty did not suffer any injuries in this inciden

Sources tell us Thomas and Fetty have had a “deep rooted” beef over music deals for years. We’re told Thomas’ crew had warned Fetty to “stay out of Paterson” … even though it’s his hometown.
Thomas has not been booked for burglary … only gun charges for the shootout.
