Just B. Polo is an alternative Pop / hip-hop artist from New York combining sticky hooks with a dynamic rap structure. Writing, producing, and engineering his own music and lyrics, this versatile performer is both creator and artist. In addition to self-producing his solo recordings, he also produces and provides beats, lyrics and original music to other developing artists. Just B. Polo won “Best New Artist” at the 2014 International Music Conference and his song “Lower Down the Music” was a semi-finalist in the 2014 International Songwriting Competition.
His highly anticipated album “Desensitized” was released in 2015. Following the release, he performed live in major cities, creating a buzz among fans and music industry alike. Shows included Warped Tour on Long Island and opening for Chris Webby. “JBP” also opened for many hip-hop artists like Playboi Carti in Phoenix, and Amber London in Dallas. The first single “There is a Hell” off Just B. Polo’s new and still unnamed album was released January 2016 with the new album anticipated for release this fall.
