#NewMusic Boosie Badazz Pays Homage To LL Cool J With “I’m Bad” Video
Wearing a few gold chains and a familiar Kangol hat, the southern mainstay pays homage to the G.O.A.T LL Cool J, whose original “I’m Bad” debuted back in 1987 as the first single from the Queens-bred emcee’s sophomore album Bigger and Deffer.
The track would mark LL Cool J’s official debut on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, while Bigger and Deffer went on to certify three-times platinum in the United States.
“No rapper’s spittin’ lyrics like I can / I take a pussy ass nigga and put his face in the sand / All the sexy ladies love, man, I’m fresh as can be / Bad boy reputation, I keep haters with me,” Boosie opens up on the cut in a flow that mirrors his most memorable form.
