Lawyer Lisa Bloom Defends “I Need Money Tweet” from woman suing Usher

Since coming out as an accuser against Usher, Sharpton’s social media posts have gone widespread, with two Facebook posts in particular that seem to insinuate that the woman was thirsty to get a check out of this situation. One post said “I need some money,” while the other one said “Enjoying my last couple of hours as a regular girl.” Both of the posts were put up exactly one week before the lawsuit. Lisa Bloom has issued a statement clarifying her client’s social media posts, saying, “It’s not a crime to be poor in America. It’s not a crime to be honest about the fact you need money. Most people need money.” In reference to the “regular girl” post, Bloom said that Sharpton is “so brave to step forward.”Quantasia Sharpton
