Music Biz: Murder Inc. Returns and Announces Partnership With 300 Ent.

Storied Hip-Hop executive Irv ‘Gotti’ Lorenzo took to social media this weekend to announce the official resurgence of his Murder Inc. label and its subsequent partnership with 300 Entertainment.

In two separate Instagram posts, Gotti commented on his relationship with Kevin Liles and Lyor Cohen, quoting that the trio was “back at it again.”

“Everyone get ready for some dope music. And everyone get ready for TALES. June 27th. On BET. Everything I am about to give to the world is dope. Believe In It!!” he further wrote.

Among artists signed onto the Murder Inc./300 partnership are D.C. rapper Boogiie Byrd and Atlanta duo Fitted Circle.

In posts published before the above one, Irv went into a much more detailed account of the deal with 300 and his plans outside the label, including Tales, a series set to premiere on BET based on the anthology of hip-hop, according to Gotti.

“I’m beyond blessed and excited to be Smashing with my guys,” he wrote in reference to Liles and Cohen.

Further in one post he also mentions that in addition to Boogiie Byrd and Fitted Cirle, another artist on the roster will be announced soon, and that Ja Rule and Black child are still very much a part of the mix.
