New Music Alert The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar ‘Pray for Me’ From ‘Black Panther

The track, “Pray for Me,” opens with The Weeknd’s floating vocal asking who is “gonna save me” before slipping into the hook where he wonders “who gonna pray for me.”

“Tell me who’s gon’ save me from myself/When this life is all I know/Tell me who’s gon’ save me from this hell/Without you, I’m all alone,” he sings.

The second verse features Kendrick, who offers an apocalyptic verse.

“Mass destruction and mass corruption/Their souls are sufferin’ men/Clutchin’ on deaf ears again, rapture is comin’/It’s all prophecy and if I gotta be sacrificed for the greater good, then that’s what it gotta be,” he raps.

The track follows two other release from the much-anticipated soundtrack, “All the Stars” featuring Kendrick and SZA and Jay Rocks “King’s Dead” featuring Kendrick, Future and James Blake.
