Troy Ave Interview on The Breakfast Club. “I’m The New Tupac” lights up twitter
Troy Ave went on The Breakfast Club today and gave a very lively interview in which he claimed he’s the new Tupac, talked about the infamous shooting at Irving Plaza last May, and Taxstone.
Charlamagne Tha God kicks off the interview by asking Troy Ave if he’s suffering from “post traumatic stress,” seeing as how he’s wearing a bullet proof vest and all. Troy Ave asks everyone to excuse the way he talks because he has a bullet in his back.
The Brooklyn rapper, real name Roland Collins, wore a bullet-proof vest while speaking with the Power 105.1 talking heads. Yet despite the five felony charges leveled against him stemming from the May 2016 shooting at New York’s Irving Plaza, the 33-year-old was not short on confidence. Comments like “Being a real n***a is a handicap” or “I didn’t know how hot I was” were all said.
During the 90 minute interview, Ave spoke about his current relationship with the surviving family of Ronald McPhatter, who was killed during the melee. He spoke about his loyalty, money never being an issue and offered his commandments on what he requires of anyone associating with him.
