(Update) Video of Rapper Chinx Murder Suspect Arrested Today. Watch
After nearly three years, a suspect has been arrested for the murder of Chinx, who was shot and killed in Queens, New York on May 17, 2015. Lisa Evers was the first to report the story Thursday morning (Dec. 14).
In a video she uploaded to her Instagram account, a handcuffed man walks into what appears to be either a courthouse or a jail with his hands buried in his face. The person recording the video asks simply, “Why did you do it Quincy?” The man, whose name appears to be Quincy, simply enters the building.
Although Chinx, born Lionel Pickens, has now been dead for almost three years, he’s dropped two albums in the last two years. The first was titled Welcome to JFK, which dropped in August 2015. The second, aptly titled Legends Never Die, was released this past September.
