(Video) Russell Westbrook Breaks Triple-Double Record, Hits Insane Buzzer-Beater
Westbrook earns his record-breaking 42nd triple-double in style.
Today was all about Russell Westbrook. Brodie earned his 42nd triple-double in a 106-105 victory over the Denver Nuggets, breaking Oscar Robertson’s record that has stood for 55 years.
Westbrook racked up 50 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists and stroked a buzzer-beater from 30+ feet to give the Thunder the win.
Westbrook and James Harden are currently locked in one of the most exciting MVP races in recent memory. Advanced metrics tend to favor Harden, and just about every other metric favors Westbrook.
