Drake and Nas Come together for Sprite Commercial. Lyrics on sprite cans
To promote their new series of hip-hop-inspired cans, Sprite has begun a run of commercials featuring some of the world’s most famous and revered MCs. The first clip features Drake and Nas and was shot in February at the pair’s co-headlining gig at New York City’s Irving Plaza. The song chosen for the 30-second spot is Drake’s “0-100,” from which two quotes (“I’m the rookie and the vet”; “Know yourself, know your worth”) were pulled for the campaign. Other lyrics that will appear on Sprite cans this summer are culled from songs by the Nothing Was the Same star (“Over”; “Started From the Bottom”; “Tuscan Leather”), Nas (“The World Is Yours”; “Trust”; “My Generation”; “It Ain’t Hard to Tell”; “If I Ruled the World”), Rakim (“Follow the Leader”; “Microphone Fiend”; “Paid In Full”; “Waiting For the World To End”) and The Notorious B.I.G. (“One More Chance”).
