French Montana fans are still waiting on his sophomore LP Mac and Cheese: The Album, but there might be some hope it’s coming sooner than later. The Coke Boys rapper decided to craft a sequel to his song “Sanctuary” from the 2012 mixtape Mac and Cheese 3. “Sanctuary Pt. 2″ could be the glimmer of hope for French Montana fans need as it might be a potential statement to release a part two for a song from the Mac and Cheese mixtape series. .
The track itself is a standard French Montana affair with his melodic delivery dominating the record. “Sanctuary Pt. 2″ includes a long intro and hook before French Montana jumps into the first verse.
“Die young honorably/Live long you die twice/Only in the dark/You gonna shine bright/You a star/Locked next took Chinx/God got a plan for you/With open arms/Nobody gave a hand to you/Chasing fame you in trouble/Crack the bank and I double/Don’t bump hands in the huddle/Made a mil saw the devil, crib on the water/Taking pictures/When they take me send me money/Or they send me pictures/Still chasing a high/Them boys waiting outside/Car cease when I fly/Court case is on trial/Till they take me away,” French Montana raps.
While his album’s status may be uncertain, French Montana’s venture into the acting world is not. The Bad Boys artists is set to appear in the upcoming film The Perfect Match, which will hit theaters on March 11.
