In New York:

NEW YORK – Thousands of people are expected at a “Not My President’s Day” rally in Columbus Circle today.

It comes after a rally Sunday in Times Square.

Protesters of all faiths gathered in response to President Donald Trump’s travel ban.

Organizers and speakers said while it was not an anti-Trump protest, they are opposed to his executive orders and divisive rhetoric.

“There are good people in this country who have been given the wrong information, who have been shown stereotypes, horrible stereotypes rather than the truth,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio.
