Budding emcee Shon Weathers displays pure positive vibes on his new record aptly titled “Feng Shui.” The production is a nice blend of hip-hop, soul, and funk vibes courtesy of Decap.
The arrangement is quite interesting as the emcee delivers a long verse in a carefree manner before switching into a more melodic performance on the second half of the song. A true student of the game, he shows solid lyricism from start to finish while adding a new age touch to the craft. In his own words, he tries to create “…Something that bridges the gap between the younger generation and the “old heads.”
