Rising hip-hop artist, Ty Brasel continues to make national headlines since releasing his latest project, Destined For Greatness (Side A). He debuted his swank music video for “The Game” with Apple Music and “Shooting Star” is a tasteful follow up directed by Jacob Henley. The visual illustrates his experience with love and relationships.
“Shooting Star”, shot in a nightclub, is intensified with a colorful light show to captivate viewers. Purple, pink, and blue strobes ignite the scene as Ty delivers his rhymes. “Running from my pain, I’m a shooting star. I hate when I fall in love, guess I’m better off,” he raps over the bouncy soundscape.
Viewers learn about personal conflicts that have jeopardized Ty’s love life. The women seen in the visual personifies the theme of “Shooting Star”. In the music video, Ty raps with conviction about perceiving women as gifts from God.
