With less than two days until Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration on Friday, it’s still not clear who will be performing. But while a number of acts having canceled their sets after confirming their involvement, and more announcing their commitments, there is at least one notable artist who really wants on the the bill — Azealia Banks.
The controversial rapper posted a message to Facebook on Wednesday (Jan. 18), saying she was disappointed with the inauguration’s lineup and would love to be on the bill.
“Saw the entertainment line for the inauguration it made me very upset,” she posted. “This is an EPIC moment in modern history and it should def be celebrated in style. I would love to perform at the inauguration.”
Far-right writer and personality Milo Yiannopoulos at least thought this was a good idea, saying she was his “my first, second and last choice.”
