Nick Cannon may just be the wokest celebrity in the game right now—sorry, Jesse.

The star is so woke, he showed up at a protest for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland rocking a turban. The RNC has already gotten off to a shaky start—first lady hopeful Melania Trump has been getting dragged on Twitter all day for plagiarizing Michelle Obama’s 2008 speech.

Cannon, who has been incredibly vocal about black rights and the ongoing state-sanctioned violence against black people, was right in the middle of the action at the Black Lives Matter protest.

This, of course, isn’t the first time Cannon has shown up to lend his voice to the movement. The star was in New York earlier this month at another Black Lives Matter protest following the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, though that time he was rocking a black turban.

In addition to his activism, Cannon has been busy building his empire. The rapper/actor has hosted America’s Got Talent and Wild N’ Out, while also serving as chairman of TeenNick, Chief Creative Officer for Radioshack, and the CEO of his own entertainment company, NCredible Entertainment. Cannon is now taking on another partnership as Global Brand Ambassador with upstart technology company bBooth, which he announced at a private reception in West Hollywood, California. Cannon also premiered his new single “If I Was Your Man” featuring Jeremih at the event.

As the RNC continues, there’s sure to be more protests. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on Nick’s protest fashion choices if he shows up.
