Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong opened the show with a message for Paris following the terrorist attacks on Nov. 13.

“Paris is the city of light. And here in New York City, we know that light will never go out. Our love and support is with everyone there tonight. We stand with you,” she said.
She then repeated the message in French, then added the tradition “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night.”
