The legal battle between Ciara and Future has been a long and ugly process, but the Atlanta rapper reportedly VIDEO: Ciara Calls Out Ex-Fiance For 'Double Standard'scored a major win in court yesterday. According to TMZ, Future won joint custody of their son, Baby Future, after Ciara had asked the judge for sole custody of their son. She allegedly claimed that Future was a bad parent, who was not present in their child’s life. After the judge sided with Future, it appeared Ciara tried to keep things positive on Twitter with the message, “Where There’s FAITH, There’s HOPE. God is An Awesome God! ❤”

One Twitter user actually spotted the former couple in court yesterday, and noted that Future looked extremely nervous. “Future looked like he was trying to catch up to his lawyers, and he looked furious and embarrassed,” the user wrote.

The legal battle between Future and Ciara has been going on for months now, and kicked off when Ciara filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit against Future for slandering her name in public. In response, Future filed a counter lawsuit against the singer, where he argued that her claims weren’t accurate. The current status of those lawsuits is currently unclear.

Future later opened up about the public battle on Twitter when he sent out, “This bitch got control problems” and, “I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the fuckery for 15k a month.”

Ciara and Future’s camps did not immediately respond to Complex’s request for comments, but we’ll continue to update the story as more details come out.
