Colin Kaepernick’s mom responds to Trump ‘Guess that makes me a proud b*tch!’
Teresa Kaepernick — mother of former San Francisco 49ers player Colin Kaepernick — responded to President Donald Trump’s remarks in Alabama on Friday night in which he said that NFL owners should “get that son-of-a-b*tch off the field” when players protest by taking a knee during the national anthem
The Kaepernicks have kept a relatively low profile since their son set off a movement against police brutality that is now in its 13th month. During an interview with Deadspin Teresa admitted that she and her husband are not very political people, but in the same breath she confessed that they were anti-Trump as soon as they began to realize the kind of rhetoric he was espousing. Deadspin’s Lindsey Adler got in contact with the home on Saturday and got her take on the remarks. To Teresa Kaepernick, they only confirm what she already felt about the President.
