THE EXCELLENCE OF BLACK AMERICANS:

Black Americans invented: the blood bank (Charles Drew), the carbon filament light bulb (Lewis Latimer), the multiplex telegraph (Granville T. Woods), peanut based dyes (George Washington Carver), and so much more. Black Americans created top music genres such as Rock & Roll, Jazz, Country, R&B, Gospel, The Blues, and hundreds of widely emulated urban dances, etc.

On that note, all across the world, Black American musicians are heralded as many of the greatest musicians of all time. Examples include: Michael Jackson, Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, A Tribe Called Quest, Jay-Z, Chuck Berry, Whitney Houston, Prince, The Temptations, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Kendrick Lamar, Tupac, Beyonce, etc. The list of innovative, talented, world famous, Black American musicians could easily stretch for miles.

 

Black Americans advanced medicine by performing the first successful open heart surgery via Dr. Daniel Hale Williams, and have added award-winning doctors like brain surgeon Dr. Ben Carson to our great medical history.

 

Presently, the richest and most powerful woman in media is Black American media mogul Oprah Winfrey. The top astrophysicist in the world is Black American scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson. The richest and most powerful woman on Wall Street is Black American business tycoon Suzanne Shank. Black American Lawyer William E Gary is one of Forbes’ Top 50 Attorneys in the U.S. He has a net worth of $550 million.

 

Equally important, Black Americans are daring. They changed America and pressured the American government to exemplify the true meaning of its creed. It was the valiant efforts of Black Americans who fought and died to get the 13, 14 and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the Fair Housing Act of 1968. The bravery and resilience of Black Americans made America great for all people.
Moreover, the first self made female millionaire in the US was a Black American woman Madam C.J. Walker. Additionally, Black American NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson calculated the trajectory of the Apollo 11 space mission. AMAZING! We’ve created soul food, and have positively shaped the US, and the world.
The labor of our ancestors fueled the industrial revolution of the US, and Black Americans served in the military in literally every war in American history.
Self made millionaire and civil rights leader Booker T. Washington influenced and inspired Marcus Garvey. Black American R&B singers influenced Bob Marley. Black American boxing legend Muhammad Ali influenced and inspired the world especially those on the African continent. The Black Panthers inspired rebel movements internationally. Black American civil rights legend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is universally praised and he helped to gain equal rights for many in America.

 

Equally important, Black Americans gifted the world with many of the greatest athletes that have ever walked the planet. Athletes such as Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, Jack Johnson, Allen Iverson, Michael Jordan, Jesse Owens, Simone Biles, Jackie Robinson, Venus and Serena Williams, Floyd Mayweather Jr., etc. were among the hundreds of Black Americans that have continuously set the bar for athletic excellence. It must be noted that Black Americans have created more gold winning Olympians than Ancient Greece.

 

The fact is that the vast majority of Black Americans are decent, law abiding and hard working individuals. Since 2000, the disposable income of Black Americans has risen to an astounding $1.5 trillion dollars. There’s a myriad of thriving Black American communities with low crime, intact families, and high property values. Black Americans are CEO’s of Fortune 500 companies, serve on Supreme courts and in Congress; they are millionaires and billionaires, inventors, etc. The top Black owned business in America, World Wide Technology Inc., has revenues of $7 Billion and 2500 employees. If Black America were listed as an independent nation their accumulated disposable income would have them ranked as #17 in terms of nations on our planet. In summation, Black Americans are greatness. Black Americans are incredible. Black Americans have an intellectual tradition that eclipses most of the world. WE ARE EXCELLENT.
