Hurricane Harvey: Actress Sandra Bullock Pledges $1 Million Towards Relief.
Between the Federal Government and all the Celebrity and non celeb donations, there should be a lot of relief money and help coming to the people and Texas and Louisiana. Hopefully this assistance really get to the people on the ground that are suffering, displaced, and that have losses.
The Vice President of Communications for American Red Cross spoke to People about the large donation Bullock gave, saying, “This is an incredible gift. We’re so thankful. It’s times like this when we do receive such an incredible amount of support. Especially during times of disaster, people see what’s happening in Texas and our hearts all go out to them.” She went on to say, “Having someone like Sandra Bullock make this kind of commitment, it helps bring people together and open their hearts and be even more generous.”
