Kerry Lathan served part of a 26 years to life prison sentenced and just came home before the shooting of Nipsey Hussle. After the shooting, Police claimed he violated his parole be being associated a known Gang Member (Nipsey Hussle) and put him back in jail.

Lathan detailed the moment he came in contact with Nipsey in the parking lot of the Marathon Store and described how Nipsey, himself, and his nephew were shot. Lathan pointed out that Nipsey looked out for him when he came home.
