(Update) Alleged Killer Of Angela Simmons’ Ex-Fiancé Surrenders To Police
Atlanta, GA – The man allegedly responsible for the death of Sutton Tennyson — Angela Simmons’ ex-fiancé and father of her child — has turned himself in to Atlanta police. According to WSB-TV Atlanta, Michael Williams surrendered to authorities on Wednesday (November 7).
Williams’ attorney, Jackie Patterson, told reporter Tom Jones that his client “will not be making any statements.”
Williams is charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during commission of a felon.
Tennyson was shot and killed in his driveway on November 4.
Although the couple called off their engagement last year, Simmons expressed her deep sorrow on social media, writing, “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting. I’m numb.”
Simmons took to Instagram to mourn the father of her 2-year-old son Sutton Jr.
“Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift,” Simmons wrote in the caption. “I’m hurting . I’m numb. Thank you for the out pouring of love everyone . I cant believe I’m even saying Rest In Peace Sutton . I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise.”
