#NewMusic Alert- Lil Wayne & Juelz Santana Are Back In The Studio
Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana may have never delivered on the promise of their proper collaborative album I Can’t Feel My Face, but they’re now making up for lost time. After reuniting on the closing track of Wayne’s Dedication 6: Reloaded, it appears the two rappers are working on more material. Juelz posted a picture of himself and Wayne in what appears to be Circle House Studios in Golden Glades, Florida; a studio Wayne has been known to record in and has referenced in songs like Da Drought 3‘s “Upgrade.”
Speaking of shelved projects, Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V, which has been held hostage over the last few years as he continues his legal battle with Cash Money, may actually be released in 2018, if you can trust Birdman‘s word that is. “You’ll get that this year,” he said in the recent Cash Money documentary The Cash Money Story. When asked about a timeline, he replied, “that’s up to Tunechi.” Something tells us not to take this at face value.
