To go along with the release of his new project Summer Songs 2, Lil Yachty has also released a new short film in its support called “Keep Sailing,” presented by Fader.

From internet fame to mainstream success, this video shows us the rise of Lil Boat & the Sailing Team. “I was a laughingstock. I was a joke because of my hair. Being in college really let me know I don’t want to live a regular life. I want to be rich, I want to be a celebrity, I want to be famous. I want to have this hair and people don’t laugh, they get excited” Yachty says.

Directed by Petra Collins, the film was debuted with public screenings in LA, NYC & ATL on Tuesday night. Watch the short film above.
