OVO Sound slimmed down its roster as Billboard announced that ILOVEMAKONNEN is no longer signed to the house that Drake built.
The singer signed to OVO in 2014, the same year that Drake joined him for the hit single “Tuesday.”
ILOVEMAKONNEN released his Drink More Water 6 project last month and I Love Makonnen 2 EP, his last project through OVO Sound, in November.
He is preparing to go on tour with Lil B on what they are calling “Red Dragon Based God.”
OVO Sound moves forward with dvsn, PartyNextDoor, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods and OB O’Brien. ILOVEMAKONNEN is still listed on the label’s website at the time of publication.
