Music Biz- Rapper Action Bronson Set to Host His Own Late Night TV Show,
Vice Media is doubling down on Action Bronson.
The media company has renewed the rapper’s culinary travel show, F—, That’s Delicious, for a third season on cable channel Viceland and is working with Bronson to develop a daily late night show slated to launch in late 2017.
Now it’s hard to imagine that Action would still have time to work on music while all of that is going on, but his new album Blue Chips 7000 is scheduled to arrive on Aug. 25. In fact, he dropped a dope video for “The Chairman’s Intent,” one of the songs off the album.
F—, That’s Delicious began as a web series on Vice’s food-themed Munchies channel before being spun into a series for newly created Viceland in spring 2016. The show, which wrapped its second season in January 2017, is the basis for a new cookbook, out Sept. 12, from Bronson that features an intro from FTD guest Mario Batali.
The new, still untitled, show will give Bronson two time slots on the Viceland dial and will place it alongside the network’s other late night series, Desus & Mero.
Hungry Hearts, meanwhile, will show Bronson setting up young singles to go on curated dates. Match has signed on as the presenting sponsor for the Snapchat show. The series joins other shows on the app including A&E Networks’ Second Chance and NBC’s Take Two.
