Music News: Ludacris & Ciara to Host 2016 Billboard Music Awards
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards will take place May 22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
For the third year in a row, Ludacris will return to host the Billboard Music Awards next month and will be joined by Ciara for the annual extravaganza.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards will be held May 22 at the brand-new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a live broadcast at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
“It is my honor to host the Billboard Music Awards for the third year and a pleasure to host with my good friend Ciara,” Ludacris said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to another great show in a new and exciting venue.”

Billboard Music Awards finalists across six categories will be announced Monday on ABC’s Good Morning America, with more categories to follow on the Billboard Music Awards Facebook and Periscope accounts. Then, a live stream on ABC News will announce the remaining categories. Finalists are selected based on key fan interactions with music, such as album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social engagement tracked by Billboard and its data partners. The awards are based on the reporting period of March 23, 2015, through March 17, 2016.
