March 13th, 2020 (New York, NY): Sean Kennedy has released his second album full-length album, The One.
This new albumwill include his previous singles, “All the Time,” “Could You,” and “Goodbye,” along with eight unreleased tracks and an interlude that completely captures the essence of an awkward and shy high school student seeking to find The One.
“This album focuses on the ups and downs of falling in love, but in those downs, finding the importance of self-love. However, the bright side is coming to the realization that at 16, I’m going to fall in love many more times.”
– Sean Kennedy
The One explores the rollercoaster of emotions that one goes through when falling in love. The leading single off The One, “All the Time,” begins the story with a fun and lively song written from the first-person perspective where Sean meets someone that he is struggling to strike up a conversation with, but eventually builds up the courage to talk to them. The album then proceeds through the journey of being a teenager and falling in love and all of the emotions that go along with that.
Sean Kennedy began his musical journey in 2013. At just the young age of ten, he realized his passion for writing lyrics, and with the help of his music teachers and class peers, he was able to compose his very first songs. After learning to play guitar and piano, Kennedy was introduced to the world of recording where he spent years teaching himself the ways of producing. In March 2019, Kennedy released his first album, Tell Me, consisting of 10 tracks, all written, composed, and produced by himself. His second album The One will be released in Spring 2020.
