We can always count on Alchemist to lace us with some heat, and this Friday is not different. He linked up with a few artists for “Palisades.” Blue, Killa Kali, Big Twins and Planet Asia all get a turn on the mic, although the song is officially Blu’s according to Alchemist’s Soundcloud.
From the emcees on the bill, you already know it’s going to be a lyrical track. Alchemist constructs a serene boom bap track by looping string instrument samples and ambient spring sounds over old school drums. There’s major respect to the old heads on this one, with Planet Asia closing out the track on an extended verse.
