New Music: XXXTentacion Sad Video (Attends his own funeral in the video)
Released on Thursday (June 28), the haunting JMP-directed video finds the rapper tasked with defeating himself as a way to end the negative energy in the world and spread positivity. While attending his own funeral, his body emerges from the casket and attacks him.X also wrote and creative directed the video, which is narrated by a hooded figure that speaks to him during the visual. “You are your own worst enemy and you seem un-bothered,” the figure says at one point. Throughout the video, X fights another version of himself that sports his infamous half-black, half-white hair, using powers to throw his alter-ego against the wall. The visuals end with X winning the battle over himself but trying to grasp that he was finally able to defeat his demons.
