#NewMusic Chris Brown & Joyner Lucas – Stranger Things-
Chris Brown and Joyner Lucas join forces on “Stranger Things,” a Netflix-inspired single in anticipation of their forthcoming joint project Angels & Demons.
Over a booming instrumental, Breezy flexes his rap skills with an acrobatic flow. “I don’t like when I lose,” he raps. “If I don’t buy her them shoes, I don’t like those / Do anything that I want to, think I’m gonna dance on the moon like Michael.”
Using his intricate rhyme patterns and rapid-fire delivery, Lucas adds: “Walk in the trap like a boss / Ho, you know I’m dripping with the sauce / Pretty with a face full of scars / All they do is build me up to try to take me apart.”
“Stranger Things” is part of a larger Angels & Demons project, which features a half-angel-half-demon being on the cover. A video for the single is scheduled to arrive tonight (Feb. 25). Photos taken at the shoot seem to show the duo going back-and-forth in a studio, surrounded by neon lights.

Joyner Lucas Bio and Background
Rapper Joyner Lucas was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1988 and developed his love for hip-hop at an early age. When he was just seven, he was already writing his own rhymes under the moniker “G-Storm}, and would go on to collaborate with his uncle (who was just a few years older than him) on various musical projects. In his teens, he briefly worked under the stage name “Future Joyner”, but decided to work under his birth name in 2012, after rapper Future rose to fame. In 2015, having already created original work for most of his life, Lucas’ first solo mixtape, Along Came Joyner, was released. It featured the breakout single and video “Ross Capicchioni,” a song inspired by near-death shooting of a Detroit teen of the same name, told from the perspective of both the victim and the shooter. Several more successful singles followed, and in 2016, Lucas signed to Atlantic Records. His debut album, 508-507-2209, was released in the summer of 2017. ~ Fred Thomas
