R.I.P Rapper Young Greatness Shot & Killed At Waffle House in New Orleans.
According to CBS’ local New Orleans affiliate, rapper Young Greatness was shot and killed outside of a local Waffle House earlier this morning (Oct. 29). He was only 34.
The news outlet reports that the rapper, who had been signed to Quality Control, was shot once on 2900 block’s Elysian Fields Avenue. He was declared dead on the scene.
Speaking with New Orleans’ WDSU, Greatness’s mother Jeanine Rose seemingly criticized the government while explaining the state of the city and the tragedy of young men dying too soon.
The death of greatness marks the latest in a continuing line of rappers who’ve been shot and killed in 2018. This past June, XXXTentacion and Pittsburgh’s Jimmy Wopo were shot and killed on the same day. Earlier this month, Louisiana’s Marley G was killed in the same fashion.
