(Update) Two Arrests Made In Shooting Of Tekashi 6ix9ine Celebration At Restaurant
New York, NY – Two men — 33-year-old Zachary Bunce and 29-year-old Faheem Walter — have been arrested for a shooting outside of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s post-sentencing celebration. They were both hit with gang assault charges, according to Page Six.
Police believe Bunce and Walter arrived at the Philippe Chow restaurant on Madison Avenue in New York City on Friday night (October 26) and tried to get in to where 6ix9ine was having dinner with his manager. When the rapper’s security turned the men away, Bunce and Walter soon returned to the upscale dining establishment where all hell broke loose.
Cops said Walter threw a chair at a security guard. Consequently, the guard pulled out his licensed gun and shot Walter twice in the stomach.
6ix9ine was not involved in the altercation.
The bodyguard was taken to the hospital, rushed into surgery and is currently in stable condition.
A retired police officer happened to be nearby when the gunfire erupted and reportedly fired his weapon in an attempt to stop the suspect.
