Tyrese Interview: Talks Homosexuality in Hip Hop, His new role on Star, Donald Trump, Kanye and Steve Harvey on Breakfast Club
“Listen, we love Steve Harvey,” Tyrese said in response to Breakfast Club host Charlamagne Tha God mentioning how much good Harvey has done for the black community. “I just don’t appreciate what felt to me, like he was being used as a prop by the prop master.”
“When you show up to that man’s office, the Trump towers or the White House, he’s gonna want the cameras to roll, he’s desperate for the credibility of black people,” Tyrese said. “He wants to show everybody, ‘I have all of these African Americans’ intentions…look at my African American!'”
