Another L.A. Break-in – Usher’s Home Reportedly Burglarized For Over $800K

The Blast reports Usher’s was burglarized for over 800K in cash and jewelry. Usher’s estranged wife, Grace Miguel, reportedly filed a police report with the LAPD that her home was broken into a couple weeks ago. Grace says she was informed of the break-in by the housekeeper back on March 29th, and what’s crazy is the robbers apparently came back to the house and got the security footage too.

The housekeeper apparently told Usher’s estranged wife that when she arrived at the home that morning, she “discovered a footprint on the second floor, a handprint on the pillow in the lower floor, and the curtains to the lower floor window were open.” When the housekeeper went to check the recording box where the security camera footage was kept, “she noticed that the recording box was missing and connecting wires were cut.”

Grace Miguel later verified that some jewelry had been stolen and when she called Usher to tell him what happened, she discovered that cash was also missing from a box on the nightstand (approximately $20,000).

It’s believed the house, which is currently on the market for sale in the wake of their divorce, might’ve allowed the robbers to unlock a window while at an open house, and then came back for the heist. Usher’s estranged wife believes thieves had stolen the jewelry earlier in the week and then returned to get the security footage.

In total, the thieves reportedly got $20,000 in cash, six watches (the most expensive of which was $220,000) a rose gold Jesus necklace worth $200,000, and another ring from Usher. Meanwhile Grace Miguel saw some of her jewelry get stolen as well.

The case is currently under investigation, but we’ll continue to keep you posted moving forward.
