Former British pop star Gary Glitter was on Thursday accused of eight sexual offences against two teenage girls dating back to the 1970s following a 20-month investigation. The singer, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was first arrested by British police in October 2012 over allegations of sexual offences and evidence gathered by the police has since been handed over to prosecutors. Gadd, 70, popular as a glam-rock singer in the 1970s, will appear in court on June 19
