With rumors swirling about the fate of the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Wicked, it’s only logical that people would hope the original Elphaba, Idina Menzel, is involved somehow. It looks like she’s hoping that too. “If I could be a part of it in some way that would be great,” Menzel said. Universal Pictures chairman Adam Fogelson revealed last year that the Wicked movie was a high priority for the studio, despite not having been officially greenlit.
