(Video) Rapper Lil Durk Surrendering to Police in Connection to Shooting. Lil Durk turned himself over to police on Thursday (May 20) evening on charges of criminal attempt to commit murder. He’s also facing charges of aggravated assault, unlawful for a person employed by/associated with a criminal street gang to conduct/participate in criminal activity, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (vgcsa) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
BTW…he also dropped a new song called “Turn Myself in” before actually turning himself in.
Durk’s attorney also stated that the unidentified victim, who ultimately survived the shooting in February after undergoing surgery, is actually in jail for shooting up a Chicago night club.
The shooting in question occurred on February 5th at 5:45 AM at a popular restaurant called “The Varsity,” where arriving officers found an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then rushed to the hospital where he survived through surgery, while police say they recovered 13 shell casings from a rifle at the crime scene.
