More than 50 people killed and 200 injured when a gunman opened fire with automatic weapons at a country music festival in #lasvegas near the #mandalaybay #casino

a single gunman began to open fire with automatic weapons at fans who were attending an outdoor music festival. The gunman who is now identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada was positioned on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel as he began his killing spree. At this time more than 50 people are confirmed dead and over 200 people have been injured.

Police located the room where Paddock was located in and used explosives to enter and kill him. Multiple off-duty police are dead or injured. No motive is currently known behind this horrific shooting.

 

stephen paddockPaddock was married but going through a divorce. His wife has not been identified. He was living with a roommate named Marilou Danley, who the police are currently trying to locate. 62-year-old Danley has been identified as a 4’11” Asian woman. Her connection with the shooting is yet to be determined. Police are also seeking out two vehicles that could be connected with the murders – a Hyundai Tucson with Nevada license plate number 114B40 and a Chrysler Pacifica Touring with Nevada plate number 19D401.
