(Video) NYC Man Takes a Cab and Leaves Girlfriend to burn in car after crash
A woman’s body was found in a car after a fiery crash on the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn Friday, and authorities say the driver, believed to be a man she was dating hailed a cab in the middle of the highway while she burned to death.
Police caught Ahmad in the hospital where he was charged with manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, leaving the scene of a fatal accident, speeding and driving with a suspended license. He is still in the hospital being treated for burns on the neck, arms and legs. Ahmad’s brother, Waheed Ahmad, pointed to the injuries as proof that Saeed tried to assist the victim. Waheed said, “After trying to help her get out of the cars, his arms were burned, his neck was burned. You see a person die in front of you and you are in unimaginable pain, imagine what you would do?”
