With unseen footage and exclusive interviews, this programme reveals the story behind Jay-Z and Kanye West’s spectacular rise, their creative partnership and their colossal falling out.

Public Enemies: Jay-Z vs Kanye,  is a new documentary produced by ACME Films for Channel 4 (UK). The film will feature home video, unseen footage and exclusive interviews from mutual associates who know the hip-hop duo best. According to the press release, “It’s a tale of creativity versus commerce, inner-city deprivation versus suburban aspiration, of right versus left. And it reveals an even bigger story of how race, wealth and celebrity are shaping modern America.”

Lately, fans have been trying to decode lyrics from Jay-Z’s album 4:44 where the iconic rapper finally addressed Kanye’s passionate comments toward him and his wife Beyonce.  “I know people backstab you, I felt bad too/But this ‘f**k everybody’ attitude ain’t natural/But you ain’t a Saint, this ain’t KumbaYe/But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye/You gave him 20 million without blinkin’/He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f**k was he thinkin’/ ‘F**k wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’ / But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane,” raps Jay-Z in the track entitled “Kill Jay-Z”.
